The Hotel consists of three newly restored
buildings dating back to the nineteenth
century. The restructuring works have recovered
elements of the past without despising a
view to the future. Elements such as wood
and stone, the neutral tones, the flowers
arranged along the common areas, contribute
to a sober and elegant, but above all warm
atmosphere which immediately puts guests

The historic centre of Syracuse,
now a Unesco world heritage, is in the small island
of Ortigia, separated from modern Syracuse from
two bridges across a thin stretch of sea. Very few
Hotels have the privilege of being in the seafront
of Ortigia: Algilà Ortigia Charme Hotel is one of
them; it stands on the Mastra Rua, where historically
there were the most important aristocratic homes
of the city. The nearest airport is Catania's Fontanarossa,
which is about 60 km from Syracuse.
